My name is Xinhui Sun.1 I am an incoming Postdoctoral Researcher at the École normale supérieure, Paris School of Economics, where I will work with Prof. Matthew Gordon. I received my PhD in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2026.
I am an applied microeconomist with research interests in environmental, public, and labor economics. I use big data and causal inference methods to study how economic agents, such as individuals and firms, respond to environmental challenges, including air pollution and natural disasters, and to environmental regulations.
